Dawn Handwerker is a seasoned fundraising strategist and the Founder of DMH Philanthropy LLC, a consulting firm built on the principle of being a "Partner in Purpose." With a career defined by high-stakes success, Dawn has helped raise nearly $200 million by guiding her clients through major capital campaigns, blending corporate precision with a deep-seated passion for purpose driven missions.

Her expertise is built on a sophisticated blend of experience: twelve years in corporate sales and risk management, fifteen years as a successful entrepreneur, and a decade of high-level nonprofit leadership. Before founding DMH Philanthropy, Dawn served as Vice President at Ruotolo Associates, where she successfully established and led the firm’s Southeast Regional Office providing national strategic counsel for diverse faith-based and traditional nonprofit sectors. She is also currently the Vice President of Advancement for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County.

Dawn’s approach is rooted in collaboration and stewardship. She specializes in development program assessments and design, major gift cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, executive search, marketing strategies, as well as board governance, ensuring her clients have the structural support and donor relationships necessary for long-term growth.
